　もう１０日以上前の２０１３年１２月９日のことですが、米国アーカンソー州の原発で爆発炎上の事故があったようです。　読売新聞のベタ記事でＮＲＣの事故ランク４段階のうち一番低いレベルの事故という情報もあります。

◆米原発で変圧器爆発、放射性物質漏れなし

　米原子力規制委員会（ＮＲＣ）は９日、アーカンソー州にあるニュークリアワン原子力発電所２号機で変圧器が爆発する事故が起きたと発表。事故対応センターを設置して、原因調査を始めた。

　同原発を運営する電力大手エンタジー社によると、爆発は米中部時間の９日早朝に発生。火災が起きたが、放射性物質は漏れておらず、けが人も出なかった。ＮＲＣの４段階のトラブル分類のうち、最も低い「異常事象」と判断している。

　ＮＲＣによると、２号機は、通常の外部電源の供給が止まったため、原子炉が自動停止し、非常用ディーゼル発電機などで原子炉を冷却中。同社は原因が判明するまで、２号機を運転しないことを決めた。１号機は運転を続けている。

　同原発では３月、運搬中の発電機が落下して作業員１人が死亡、８人が負傷する事故が発生していた。

　以下の記事とは別の情報で原発から数100ｋｍ離れたところの住民が計測した空間放射線量は、シーベルトに換算し０．８μSv/hなどという情報もあります（これは具体的記事未確認）。

　上記の換算では　セシウム137　120CPM≒1マイクロシーベルト/hとしています。

　日本のマスコミは、３．１１以前のように、この種の原発事故をほとんど報道しません。安倍政権に気を遣っているのでしょうかね？

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. ? A transformer caught fire at a nuclear power plant
in Arkansas on Monday, forcing utility officials to take one of two
units at the facility offline.

The fire was in a non-nuclear portion of the Arkansas Nuclear One plant
operated by Entergy Corp. No injuries were reported and there was no
threat to public safety, the company said.

Arkansas Nuclear One, located along the Arkansas River about 90 miles
northwest of Little Rock, supplies 1,823 megawatts of power, which is
the equivalent to about 30 percent of the total energy demand of
Arkansas.

An explosion and subsequent fire Monday morning at Arkansas’ Nuclear
One power plant shut down one of the facility’s nuclear reactors.

A nearby resident heard a “loud, ground shaking explosion,” according
to River Valley News, and then saw smoke (the local news site has a
collection of images taken of the incident). The blaze, which ignited at
7:50 a.m., had been contained by 9:15. The reactor will remain offline
while investigators determine the cause of the fire and review any
repairs that need to be made.

A spokesperson for U.S. power company Entergy Corp., which runs the
plant, said the incident involved a transformer in the electrical
switchyard ? a “non-nuclear” area. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission activated its incident response in Arlington, Texas, after
operators declared an “Unusual Event”: the lowest of four nuclear
emergency classifications. The shutdown was part of the plant’s
protective system, and the offline reactor is being powered by an
emergency diesel generator. No radiation is believed to have been
released.

As the Wall Street Journal points out, this represents the second
incident to force a sudden shutdown of the plant’s Unit 2 reactor this
year. On March 31, a crane collapsed, resulting in one death and eight
injuries. The reactor returned to service about a month later.

◆RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - The Nuclear One Plant's Unit 2 remains offline due to a transformer fire that occurred at 7:50 a.m. on Monday.

According to Mike Bowling with Entergy, "the transformer is located in the site switchyard, a non-nuclear portion of the plant. The fire was contained and extinguished, and there was no impact on public health or safety."

ANO officials are currently seeking to determine the cause of the transformer failure and subsequent restart plan. Because of the fire, ANO entered a notification of unusual event, the lowest of four emergency classifications designated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. That notification of unusual event classification has been exited.

ANO Unit 1 remains online, and both units are in safe, stable condition. Power to Unit 2 is being supplied by one source of offsite power and an emergency diesel generator.

The fire occurred on Monday morning at the Nuclear One plant in Russellville, according to an Entergy Arkansas spokesperson. Entergy operates the plant. The London Volunteer Fire Department said that it was working a transformer fire at the site, and by 9:25 a.m. a London firefighter told THV11 that the fire was 'under control' and there were no injuries at the plant.

　私が最初に経験したのは、カリフォルニア州サンディエゴの９０万人近くが避難した巨大山林火災ですが、巨大山林火災のとき、サンディエゴ市民の携帯などに９１１で避難情報が届いています。これは現地調査時に市民から確認しています。

　どうも今回のアーカンソー州「原発ワン」事故に関連し、原発近くの群に事故関連の９１１が届いたとされています！

　実は私が委員として参加している泊原発のＵＰＺにあるニセコ町の原子力防災計画でも、この９１１に類するシステムを携帯３社のエリアメールにより行うことを検討しています。

　アーカンソー州で原発起きたことは複数の英語情報から間違えありませんが、今のところ日本のメディアでは、読売新聞のベタ記事、それもＮＲＣの事故ランクの最下位であるという、国民を安心させる（笑い）のものだけです。

　実は、３．１１以前､日本の大メディアは、セラフィールドのプルトニウム３０ｋｇの海流出はじめスウェーデンの原発事故、ドイツの原発事故などをまったく報道してきませんでした。今夏いの一件では、讀賣新聞が上記のような超ミニの記事を出したと言うことは､知っていながら安倍政権の顔色を見て報道しなかった可能性が大です。
